first_imgKL Rahul and Hardik Pandya, the ‘poster’ boys of Indian cricket, took their glamour game to a whole new level on their recent appearance on a celebrity talk show hosted by director-producer Karan Johar, titled ‘Koffee with Karan’.The first ever episode featuring cricketers for a show that generally has movie stars as guests, Rahul amd Pandya spoke about their lifestyle, Bollywood, their crushes, favourite movies, actor and actresses in what turned out to be riveting watch.As customary on the show, the cricketer duo were also faced with the much dreaded ‘rapid-fire round’, where the host of the show Karan Johar asked them who according to them who the better batsman is between Sachin Tendulkar or Virat Kohli.”I’ll say Virat, yeah,” said Rahul, with Pandya gaving a one-word answer – “Virat”.When Karan asked them about who the better captain is between Kohli and MS Dhoni, Pandya said, “MS Dhoni because I made my debut and it was fantastic”.”In terms of achievement, yes MS Dhoni,” Rahul added.Rahul also revealed that he had partied hard the night before he scored his first T20I century against West Indies in 2016.”Yeah, I was in Miami. We were playing in Miami. And yeah, I didn’t think I was gonna play the next day. They didn’t even inform me and I was like ‘Hell I am in Miami. I am gonna go and party. What I am going to do? I am anyway not playing. I don’t have to be fresh,” said Rahul.advertisement”So we went out and we were just basically going out for dinner and the place just turned into a party place after 12:00 and then I didn’t feel like going back home, so I stayed, I went back home at 5:00. Next day 9 o’ clock I go to the game and they are like ‘you are playing’ and I was like, ‘Huh? Me! are you series?’ And then yeah I scored a century, I am not proud of that though.
