The Eagles, who fell to 5-2 and 1-2 in 2-A South play will visit Milford October 2 at 7:00 pm. Neither of these games will be Mid-Utah Radio Sports Network sports broadcasts so Eagles fans will need to travel to Milford if they plan to follow their squad next week.ENTERPRISE, Utah-Treyson Hunter threw three touchdown passes and Statler Wright (62-yard touchdown run) and Hunter Carter (9-yard touchdown run) added scoring jaunts as the Beaver Beavers clobbered Enterprise 52-3 Friday in 2-A South football action. Crayton Hollingshead added touchdown runs of 5 and 12 yards in victory for the Beavers.KANAB, Utah-Karson Blomquist had a 57-yard touchdown run and added a 23-yard scoring reception from Derek Houston as the Kanab Cowboys humbled Milford 26-15 in 2-A South football action Friday. Kason Janes added scoring receptions of 15 and 8 yards from Houston as the Cowboys stayed undefeated on the season, improving to 7-0. In defeat, Bo Hardy threw a 34-yard touchdown pass to Heston Sullivan and Bret Beebe added a 4-yard scoring run for the Tigers.Region 12MONROE, Utah-Gavin Brown threw scoring passes of 24 yards to Ethan Udy and 3 yards to Will Robinson while running for another score as the Richfield Wildcats gashed South Sevier 31-20 Friday in Region 12 football action. Kasey Giddings added a 2-yard touchdown run in the win for the Wildcats with Kordell Morgan adding a field goal for Richfield. Jaxin Torgerson caught a 30-yard touchdown pass from Carter Abraham and added a 5-yard scoring run in the loss for the Rams. Kyler Rollins also hauled in a 41-yard touchdown pass for the Rams.Region 14DELTA, Utah-Oran Finlinson had a 66-yard touchdown run and Austin Topham ran for a 1-yard score as the Delta Rabbits outlasted American Leadership 15-12 in Region 14 football action Friday.MT. PLEASANT, Utah-Trey Lund had scoring runs of 3 and 5 yards as the Juab Wasps hammered North Sanpete 42-21 Friday in Region 14 football action. Bodee Blackett added scoring jaunts of 7 and 2 yards for the Wasps with Shan Jackson and Grant Orme also scoring on touchdown runs for Juab. Morgan Bowles threw three touchdown passes in defeat for the Hawks. Brady Jacobson caught two of them (45 and 24 yards) and Andy Mower hauled in a 10-yard scoring reception for North Sanpete.ROOSEVELT, Utah-Jax Parry threw a 6-yard touchdown pass to Austin Cox, helping the Manti Templars to a 31-22 win over Union in Region 14 football action Friday. Adam DeMille added scoring runs of 1 and 31 yards for the Templars while Tanner Justesen returned a fumble 80 yards for another Manti score. Seth Cornelsen added a 26-yard field goal in victory for the Templars.2A NorthDUCHESNE, Utah-The Duchesne Eagles overcame a slow start to rout the Gunnison Valley Bulldogs 35-17 Friday in 2-A North football action.Baseball1A South RegionJUNCTION, Utah-Gavin Morgan earned the win on the mound as the Piute Thunderbirds beat Bryce Valley 6-4 Friday in 1A South Region baseball action.PRICE, Utah-Cole Harland pitched a complete game to earn the win on the mound and the Panguitch Bobcats doubled up Pinnacle 8-4 Friday in 1A South Region baseball action. Ryker Hatch tripled in the win and Tucker Chappell and Shae Miller each hit doubles.HURRICANE, Utah-Hunter Cox hit an RBI double to tie the game and Conner Chamberlain followed with an RBI single to take the lead in the sixth inning as the Valley Buffaloes escaped with a 2-1 win over Diamond Ranch Friday in 1A South Region baseball. Cox pitched a complete game to earn the win on the mound with seven strikeouts.BICKNELL, Utah-Dallas Peterson hit a home run and a double while driving in six runs as the Wayne Badgers routed Green River 15-1 Friday in 1A South Region baseball action. The Badgers had seven extra base hits in the win and Jesse Webb was dominant on the mound with seven strikeouts.Girls TennisRegion 12SEVIER COUNTY, Utah-The Richfield Wildcats were crowned the Region 12 girls tennis champs after placing first in four of the five brackets. South Sevier came in second place as a team winning in 2nd doubles.Individually Richfield’s Sarah Utley won 1st singles, without losing a set in the tournament. Piper Harris won 2nd singles and Aubrei Jorgensen won 3rd singles. Richfield’s first doubles team of Marissa McIff and Karsyn Harris placed first while South Sevier’s Presley Chappell and Neleh Troseth won 2nd doubles.Region 14UTAH-The Manti Templars won three of the five brackets to win the Region 14 girls tennis title over second place Maeser Prep. North Sanpete finished fifth, followed by Delta, Juab and Millard.Individually Manti won in 1st singles with Sadie Cox, 1st doubles with Heidi Jorgensen and Libby Simons and in 2nd doubles with Emma Christensen and Talia Cluff.
